There seems to be a new mayor running for office in Social Network Town. Google+ has thrown its hat into the ring, and wants to give Facebook a run for the title "Big Kahuna." Now that we have a choice, which will you be choosing as your social network of choice? Please take a moment and cast your vote for Facebook, Google+, both or neither. If there is a particular reason you have chosen one over the other, please share your reasoning. Thanks!

The idea of being able to filter the social feed by interest group, and to pre-filter the message to specific interest groups is, I think, the killer feature that G+ has in its favour right now.
While FB holds the majority of my friends it'll hold me too, but if there's a mass migration...
FB has all the features of G+ (including interest groups and pre-filtering messages) except the group video chat. All my RL friends and family are on FB. All my Twitter and blog friends are on G+... but they're also on Twitter and blogs, leaving G+ an interesting new shiny for the moment, but one that I'm feeling increasingly less draw to actually post on.
Both for now, but I'd prefer to migrate over to G+ whole cloth. FB kinda drives me crazy...

I'm not into social networking, but G+ has my attention, since I can "see" several of our OSR peers on it.
Are you already on G+ Shane?
The whole Circles stuff's just too awesome not to go with Google+. If only they manage to integrate some of the other Google services (I'm thinking of Google Docs, particularly)...
I'll use both for now as well, but would prefer Google+. The big thing about Google+ is that I get turn folks on to it myself, whereas Facebook jumped the shark long ago. Also I like Google better, but no illusions about doing evil. Oh, and I don't like Zuckerberg.
@All - good points all around. I guess I will ride the fence myself and see how G+ catches on. Already I can see it is much more user friendly than FB.
Aaron - I have been on G+ for a few days now, but I have to admit I haven't given it much of my attention as of yet. Here is my profile link: https://plus.google.com/116541111642124593804/
Inevitably, Google will end up just as bad as Microsoft and the rest, but for now I'd like to switch over to G+ as soon as possible.
Inertia suggests Facebook. I already don't use it much, and I'm not really looking for the "next Facebook" because the current Facebook doesn't offer me much that I value very much as it is.
Not on facebook at all. My wife says, the biggest thing Google is facing is the facebook games. Apparently, some people have a whole lot of actual money, tied up in those.
I expect most folks I'm linked to on FB will migrate to G+... so I'll end up there eventually.
I never liked Facebook anyway... but all my friends moved there.
I much preferred MySpace because you could browse the pages of strangers and make e-pals with interesting folks you never would have met through your own pathetic network of 'friends'... it functioned more like a dating site in some ways... more like mingling at a big party.
