More Gaming Goodies Headed My Way

Last night Lulu sent me a notification that my order for the Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion has been printed, and is now in the mail. Also, I have pretty cool little product coming from Troll Lord Games. They combined the fourth printing of the Castles & Crusades Player's Handbook, and the third printing of the Monsters & Treasures into a handy-dandy flipbook. I couldn't resist the novelty of it, so of course I had to order a copy of my own. I am just doing my part to take some of my tax return, and put it back into the system to help stimulate the economy! :-)

Lucky! I want to get the white box, but I'm afraid I snoozed and lost, as the story goes.

PS--Good choice with the beer snob about me tag! My wife and I just waited in line for an hour and a half to pick up Russian River's Pliny the Younger on the day it was released! What kind of beers are you into most? I'm an IPA/Double IPA man myself, but I am trying to get interested in stouts. My brother in law brews a mean chocolate stout.

I have been looking at grabbing a copy of Whit Box S&W myself. Maybe next print run I will get lucky and have the extra cash on hand.

On the subject of beer, I love stouts, but I am willing to try new flavors and brews. I am lucky enough to have several micro-brew companies close by to where I live, so generally I try to give them my business.

My girlfriend lives in Charlottesville, VA (I suspect I will be living there soon myself) and Starr Hill brew company is based there. I really love their Dark Star Stout, which is a Grateful Dead themed stout. This past fall I tried their Pumpkin Spice, and it blew me away. I couldn't get enough of it!

I have never tried homebrewing beer, but would love to give it a shot sometime. Do you think you brother in law would share his recipe? I love chocolate stout!!!

Ha ha, I don't know, but I'll ask him. That one he might be a little hesitant to give out--he's been trying to turn his hobby into a career--but I'm sure I could definitely get him to point me to another excellent stout recipe.

If you really think about brewing Mangus, and I whole heartedly support your endevor, my brother can help you get a jump on it as well.

@Raul Hunsinger - Homebrewing is just one of many things I would love to add to my hobby list. When Russ makes it into town and we sit down for a beer, I will make sure to pick his brain on the subject.

@adventurematerials - do what ever it takes to get the secret formula, and pass it along to your blogging buddies!
